This charming two-room guest cottage is of new construction, in a historic setting in the woods of Yellow Sulphur Springs, a perfect place for a retreat (see our special Three-Day Spa Treatment), or somewhere to stay for a Virginia Tech (VA Tech) football game. Large windows and glass doors bring the outdoors close. Accommodates up to 4.

Yellow Sulphur Springs is located within minutes of downtown Blacksburg and Christiansburg, Virginia, and within reach of Radford, Roanoke, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

A separate bedroom has a California king-sized bed. A couch in the sitting room converts into a double bed. A comfortable bathroom with shower opens off of the hall. Bed linens and towels are provided. Both rooms have large windows and comfortable reading chairs; sitting room has a dining table. DVD/VCR (no TV), a private telephone, and a Bose Wave Radio/CD with a variety of musical selections are available.

The kitchenette has a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, and drip coffee maker and is equipped with utensils, dishes and cookware. Coffee and fixings, napkins, paper towels, dish towels, and other basic kitchen amenities are provided. A charcoal grill is available on the porch; charcoal and lighter are provided.

An outdoor hottub on the lower deck (out of sight of cottage windows) is shared with other guests and your hosts.

Standard rate for two is $135 per night; four nights for $450; seven nights for $700. Event rate (for example, for Virginia Tech sports weekends, Freshman Parents' Weekend, and graduation) is $350 for a two night stay. Extra persons are $12 per person per night. Children are free. A valid credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express) or a 50% cash deposit is required to secure a reservation. Deposits are refundable with 14-days notice.
